My name is Abigail Zacchini and I’m in the class of 2023. I will attend Nashoba Regional High School in the fall. I played club field hockey for Boston and recently switched to Northeast Elite. My primary positions are defense and midfield and my secondary position is forward.
I was six years old when I participated in my first field hockey clinic, and eight years old when I started playing club. I have tried many sports over the years, but field hockey has always been my favorite. I train year-round on the field and in the gym. I’m constantly attending camps and clinics to advance my skills and I work with a trainer in the gym on strength, conditioning and speed.
My greatest influence in the sport has been my sister, Madeline. We attend most camps and clinics together, and even though I am two years younger, I am always by her side in training groups. My private coach, Zoe, has been my greatest influence on the field. She has spent countless hours coaching me to become a more tactful and strategic player over this past summer and fall. Off the field, my trainer, Jeremy not only keeps me physically strong, but mentally strong by teaching me that strength comes from an unbreakable spirit.
When I’m not playing field hockey, I love spending time with my family and friends. I’m happiest when I’m sitting on a beach at the ocean or watching horror movies. My favorite hobbies are cooking, baking and running.
I hope you enjoy my website. I will update it regularly after every event so please check back and reach out to Chelsey Feole with any questions.
